Four years at ManoMano, Europe’s marketplace for home improvement, designing both sides of a two-sided marketplace: checkout and delivery for 13M+ shoppers, and onboarding, returns and analytics for the 1,000+ independent sellers who supply them. I work in Figma, prototype to validate before build, and ship with product, engineering and UXR.

Checkout: cutting delivery choice from a parallel grid to a sequential decision

Delivery drove more negative NPS than any other step in ManoMano checkout. I rebuilt option selection across app and web so shoppers compare fewer variables at once.

Onboarding: taking a 50-day seller setup and making it self-serve

Setup took 10× longer than competing platforms and ran on support tickets and account managers. I redesigned it around the step that generated 34% of all support contacts.

Returns: one tool for 1,000 sellers who each had their own process

Returns were handled by direct messaging between seller and customer, and NPS fell as message count rose. I designed the centralised flow that replaced it.

Dashboard: turning a page sellers ignored into the one they open first

Sellers didn’t treat the dashboard as a hub for their business. I ran interviews and card sorting with UXR and sequenced a roadmap from low-effort wins to a longer-term direction.
